Larger pheasants farms generally adopt machines for hatching; however, for some small-scale pheasants households, because of the small number of eggs, it is uneconomical to use a robot to hatch them. Here are two simple and cost-effective incubation methods:

First, the electric blanket plus water bag incubation method.

(1) Utensils: electric blankets, water bags (plastic bags), sheets, quilts, beds, and thermometers.

(2) Stalling: First place the electric blanket on the bed, then place the water bag on the electric blanket, cover the sheet with the water bag, lay the eggs on the sheets, insert the thermometer into the eggs, and put on the quilts.

(3) Incubation Management:

1 thermostat. Plug in the power supply so that the temperature of the water bag reaches about 40°C.

2 egg. Place the sterilized eggs on the sheets. At this time, pay attention to controlling the temperature and keep it at about 38°C.

3 turn the eggs, cool eggs. Turn the egg 10 hours after the egg is laid, turn the egg every 3 hours, turn the egg 90 degrees is appropriate, until 21 days after the stop turning the egg. After one week of incubation, cool eggs are started once a day for approximately 15 minutes. It is advisable to lower the temperature of the eggs to 30-33°C and reheat them.

4 tick eggs. Eggs were shot once on the 7th and 11th days after hatching. In a timely manner, no zygote, dead zygote, weak zygote, and dead embryonated egg are discarded.

5 wait to hatch. After 21 days, the eggs were sprayed with warm water once a day. When some chicks were clammed, the temperature was increased to about 39°C. Chicks that cannot be hatched in time should also be artificially assisted.

Second, the kerosene lamp warm water bag hatching method.

(1) Utensils. Self-made four-lamp kerosene lamp, water bag, sheets, quilts and thermometer.

(2) Set up open wooden booths. The size of the open wooden box is determined by the number of eggs, with a height of 20 cm, a square hole of 2025 cm in the middle of the wooden box, a metal sheet on the square hole, and a 5 cm thick plant ash besides the iron sheet. Wrap all around with cotton wool, and place a water bag on the ash. The kerosene lamp is placed under the iron sheet so that the flame just touches the sheet metal. Control the temperature of the kerosene lamp by controlling the flame size.

(3) Incubation management with electric blanket plus water bag incubation method. Both methods work well.
