In hot summer weather, pigs feed at night faster than pigs gain weight during the day. This is because the nighttime weather is cool and there is less outside interference, which is good for pigs to eat more, sleep more, and reduce daytime activities. Its technical requirements are:
Feeding time. Generally, it can be fed 3 times at 19:00, 23:00 and 4:00; during the day, 0.5% light salt water is fed at 10 and 14:00 each time.

Feed ratio. Wheat flour 20%, corn flour 20%, bran 26%, cottonseed cake 30%, fishmeal 1%, shell powder 2.7%, ferrous sulfate 0.3%; feed before soaking for a few hours.

Feeding quantity. Pigs weighing less than 35 kilograms are fed 2 kilograms per day (excluding green feed) and 10 kilograms of light salt water; 35-60 kilograms of body weight, 2.75 kilograms per day, 15 kilograms of salt water, and 60 kilograms or more. Pigs were fed 3.5 kilograms a day and 17-20 kilograms of light salt water. When this method is applied to a body weight of 90 kg, a weight of 0.75 kg per day can be gained.

In addition, the pigs in summer should pay attention to prevent mosquito bites, and regularly feed the appropriate amount of oxytetracycline in the livestock; clean the pig house and flush the feeding utensils every morning.
