1 Have sufficient inoculum. Before the new pond is loaded, collect the sludge and biogas from the old biogas digesters, the black sediment at the bottom of the pits, the pond sludge, and the sludge from the urban sewage ditches, as well as the sewage and sludge from food factories, wineries, and slaughterhouses. , which are rich in biogas bacteria, is a good inoculum. To collect the amount of one of the above inoculants, it is necessary to reach 10%-30% of the raw material for fermentation. The inoculum and the fermentation material are evenly mixed and added into the pool together, and the water-sealing tank is added in time. The water added to the biogas digesters can be selected from the group consisting of biogas fermentation broth, domestic waste water, river water, and pond water. Well water can also be used, but tap water is not used as much as possible. Industrial wastewater containing toxic substances cannot be used.
2 suitable temperature. In the range of 10-60C, biogas digesters can normally produce gas. In this temperature range, the higher the temperature, the higher the gas production. Therefore, the start of the biogas digester is best carried out from April to October.

3 suitable pH (pH). The growth and reproduction of biogas microorganisms require that the pH of the fermentation raw materials remain neutral or slightly alkaline (ie, pH 6.5-7.5), and that overacidity and overbase will affect gas production.
4 appropriate load. The load of rural biogas digesters is usually expressed as the concentration of fermentation raw materials, and the appropriate dry matter concentration is 6%-12%. If the concentration is too high, the fermentation raw material will not be easily decomposed and it will easily accumulate a large amount of acidic substances, which will affect normal gas production. If the concentration is too low, the organic content in the unit volume decreases. Biogas digesters should be started at a low load (concentration below 6%), and after normal gas production, gradually increase the load until the design determines the operating load.
5 Add water control. When the digester is started, the amount of water added to the tank is relatively large, accounting for about 5/8 of the effective volume of the biogas. Therefore, the start-up water temperature has a great influence on the successful start of the biogas digester. The general starting water temperature should be controlled above 20C. If you start the digester in autumn and winter, the start-up water temperature in the tank should generally be controlled above 35C.
6 caps. The clay used to seal the movable cover should not be too hard or soft, and it must fill the gap between the movable cover and the sky window. The water ring on the movable cover should often be filled with water to prevent the sealant from cracking and leaking.
