I wanted to remove a sample of the solution, but found that the pipette seemed to be inaccurate and needed to be calibrated. I don't know how everyone is doing this kind of situation, but if someone like me is not particularly demanding and afraid of trouble, and I don't want to go to the calibration unit, I can use the method I will talk about below, that is. Use an electronic balance to calibrate the pipette. So what do we do specifically?

First, we need to prepare an electronic balance that has been calibrated, then put a small beaker and peel it (ie remove the weight of the container such as the basket containing the item). Pipette a certain amount of distilled water (the amount of distilled water here requires us to remember how much it is removed) and then weigh it into a small beaker for weighing. The mass divided by the density is the actual volume of distilled water. Of course, it is best to measure the water temperature before we remove the distilled water, because the density of distilled water will be different at different temperatures. The density of distilled water at different temperatures is shown in the table below.
