The constant temperature and humidity chamber should prevent the condensation water on the tank wall from falling on the test piece. The test chamber should be provided with a venting hole to prevent the pressure inside the box from rising, and care should be taken to prevent external contamination.

The high-low temperature alternating heat and humidity test chamber measures the relative humidity using a solid-state sensor that is not affected by the condensed water. A fast-reacting dry-wet bulb sensor can also be used. The wet ball gauze used should be as thin as possible to facilitate evaporation of the water and keep the sensor surface wet. The water used in the wet ball system should be the same as the water used in the humidification water. Where permitted, visual inspection of water containers, wet ball gauze, sensors and other components of the relative humidity measurement system shall be performed at least every 24 hours during the test to ensure the intended function.

Damp heat test failures and measures:

1. The test is interrupted. If an unexpected interruption occurs in the test, the test conditions are below the specified value and the tolerance is exceeded, the test shall be restarted from the end of the last valid cycle before the interruption.

2. The test was interrupted. In the event of a test interruption, the specimen shall be subjected to appropriate physical and work inspections prior to retesting. This is especially true for test pieces that have security issues. If a safety issue is discovered, the priority is to terminate the test and restart the test with the new test piece. If you do not do this, if the test piece fails during the test, the test result may be invalid. When it is confirmed that the influence of the test interruption can be neglected, the test conditions before the interruption are resumed, and the test is continued from the test interruption point, otherwise the test is restarted with a new test piece.
