Some time ago, a food factory in Zhaoqing found Wuyuan environmental protection, and wanted to solve the problem of food wastewater treatment in the plant. Wuyuan Environmental Protection developed a food wastewater treatment process by analyzing the production situation of its food factory and analyzing the results of its wastewater quality test. This process uses the SBR method.

The SBR method is a batch type activated sludge method. The principle of degrading organic matter is almost the same as that of the activated sludge method. It is a batch type activated sludge method, which is also a range of circulating activated sludge method. The main difference is that the SBR method will react. The pool is divided into four cycles: the influent period, the reaction period, the sedimentation period, and the drainage period. The SBR process has the following advantages:

(1) Biochemical reaction and sedimentation are carried out in the same reaction tank. There is no secondary sedimentation tank, which simplifies the process system, saves floor space and saves capital investment.

(2) Wastewater enters the reaction tank in batches, which can alleviate the impact of water quantity and water quality fluctuations on the system.

(4) There is a COD concentration gradient during the operation, which plays an important role in inhibiting the growth of filamentous bacteria in the activated sludge and maintaining good sludge properties (settling performance and dewatering performance).

(5) There is a DO concentration gradient during the operation, the sludge production is relatively small, and the sludge settles under static conditions, the settling time is short, and the sedimentation efficiency is high.

(6) The SBR pool can be flexibly adjusted according to the water quantity and water quality at each stage of the operation process, and the effluent water quality is easily guaranteed.

(7) Low power consumption and reduced operating costs.

(8) The level of automatic control is high.

The wastewater is discharged after being treated by the SBR reactor. The excess sludge is discharged to the air flotation system for concentration treatment and drying, and then packaged for transportation.
