(I) Density of planting Weeping willow tree-shaped canopies are medium in size. Although the amount of branches per mu is large, most of the branches are vertical and not obstructed from each other, which is conducive to ventilation and light transmission. Therefore, it is suitable for the construction of dense plants and gardens to increase production. Planting density is generally based on a spacing of 3 meters and 4 meters.

To make use of the potential of weeping willow pruning, the park should be built to a high standard. In order to increase the permeability of the soil, it is beneficial to the rapid growth of the root system after the survival of the seedlings. Planting a ditch with a width of 1 meter and a depth of 80 centimeters is preferred from north to south. When digging trenches, the soil of the upper layer (about 30 cm) and the lower layer of soil shall be placed on both sides. When backfilling, the soil of the tillage layer shall be placed on the bottom layer, then the 20 cm of stalks shall be laid, and 5000 kg of soil miscellaneous fertilizer shall be used per mu. Fertilizer 30 kg, mixed with the underlying soil and backfilled on top, timely impregnation with water.

(B) Sapling Shaping Method The first year of planting the garden should be selected seedlings, big seedlings. After planting, dry it at 1.2 meters. Cut 20 cm under the plastic belt, after budding to retain the bud within the plastic band, the following buds under the plastic band all erased. The final trunk height is approximately 0.8 to 1. For seedlings that are not sufficiently high in height, after the planting, strong buds can be selected as the terminal buds at the grafting site. The above sections should be cut, and should be dried after being set at a height above the dry height. After germination, the top stems are retained in the orthopedic zone to form a central stem, and under the stems, two strong buds opposite to each other are selected to be cultivated into two main branches of the first layer. Note: The main points of the two main branches on the trunk should be adjoining and not docking, so as not to form a neck on the trunk. In the fall of that year, after the two main branches of the first layer grew to more than 1 meter, the two main branches were pulled to an opening angle of about 70 degrees. At the end of winter, the branches that compete with the trunk and main branches are cut off and the auxiliary branches are kept. The center stem was cut at about 1.2 meters above the main branch of the first layer to cultivate the second main branch. The first main branch that remains is no longer cut after cutting.

The main branch after flattening is germinated before germination in the spring of the second year in the next year. The distance between the buds is about 20 cm. After the flattened main branch sprouts, a large number of prosperous branches will be born. For these upright new branches, the dense ones can be removed and the rest allowed to grow. Branch spacing 20-30 cm is more appropriate. After falling to autumn, these new shoots have grown to more than 80 cm and are lignified. At this point, the branches are twisted to the ground and then fixed with a string or wire to make them into a weeping willow shape (see Figure 1). Note: Do not break the branches when they are pulled. For the extension of the front of the main branch of the first layer, it is also vertically twisted and fixed vertically, so that the length of the horizontal part of the main branch is maintained at about 1 meter. After this year's growth, the main branch that was cut last year has begun to form the second main branch. In the top plastic band, the main branch of the center is retained while leaving the second main branch at the same time. The three main branches are distributed at 120 degrees and are staggered with the main branch of the first layer. The three main branches should also be pulled to 70 degrees in accordance with the main branch of the first floor of the previous year. At the end of winter cut, the central trunk that extends upwards is cut again about 1.2 meters away from the main branch of the second layer to cultivate the third main branch.

The third year. In spring and autumn, according to the management method for the first main branch, the second main branch is carved and pulled, and the third main branch is cultivated according to the main branches of the first and second floors. The third layer leaves four main branches, which are distributed at 90 degrees and are staggered with the lower main branch. In the autumn, the central trunk is no longer retained when the winter is cut, and the overall tree height is controlled at about 3 meters.

fourth year. According to the management methods of the main branch of the first and second floors, the main branch of the third floor is carved and pulled. At this point, the entire tree is basically formed.
