Synchronized egg production: Once the pigeons are paired, they typically begin laying eggs around day 8. This synchronization helps in managing the breeding cycle more effectively, allowing for better planning and resource allocation.
Simultaneous hatching: After eggs are laid, collect those produced within the same period and record them. Place them in a standard electric incubator, ensuring proper turning—5 to 6 times daily. The eggs should be positioned with the blunt end up in the egg tray. At around 17 to 18 days, the eggs will start to hatch. Regular monitoring and maintenance of the incubator are essential during this time.
Simultaneous feeding: Once the chicks hatch, move them to a brooding room. Ensure the room is clean, disinfected, and equipped with a brooding rack. Place a brooding tray inside, and lay a 2- to 3-centimeter thick layer of soft grass on it. Keep two pigeons per dish to avoid overcrowding.

After two days, gradually increase the amount of feed. By days 6–9, reduce the skimmed milk powder to 3–5% of the diet and feed them three times a day. Maintain the brooding chamber temperature at 35°C on the first day, then lower it by 0.5°C each subsequent day until it reaches 25°C.
After 18–21 days of care and feeding, the pigeons will be ready for sale. This structured approach ensures healthy growth, improves survival rates, and maximizes productivity in pigeon farming.
