Oil and fat feed includes animal oil and vegetable oil, animal oil includes lard, beef oil, and fish oil, and vegetable oil includes rapeseed oil, cotton seed oil, and corn oil. In general, the best ratio of broiler feed oil is: 0.5% in the early stage and 5% to 6% in the later stage. Due to the large viscosity of the oil, it must be heated and melted before adding it, and then add the powder by adding as little as possible, mix evenly, gradually dilute, and finally mix thoroughly. Do not mix the oil directly with the feed to prevent it from sticking into a ball and it cannot be mixed well. Sprayers can also be used to evenly spray the grease onto the surface of the pelleted feed. For conditional production of pelleted feed, 30% of the added fat can also be added to the pelleted feed, and the other 70% is sprayed onto the surface of the pellets to increase palatability. Adding grease to broiler feeds should pay attention to the following issues: (1) Do not use deteriorating oils. (2) Pay attention to nutritional balance. After the addition of oils and fats, as the energy level in the feed is increased, other nutrients in the feed must be adjusted accordingly, in particular to maintain the ratio of protein and energy. (3) The storage time of fat-containing feed should not be too long. Storage is prolonged or stored under high temperature conditions prone to rancidity. In general, fat-containing feed should not be stored for more than 7 days in summer and not exceed 21 days in winter. (4) Add antioxidants to the feed to prevent rancidity.
